Gerd Lohmeyer

Gerd Lohmeyer (born February 10, 1945, in Würzburg) is a German actor and director. Gerd Lohmeyer grew up in Nabburg and studied performing arts from 1967 to 1970 at what is now the Berlin University of the Arts. While still a student, he took on his first film roles, including parts in *Morgens um sieben ist die Welt noch in Ordnung* and *Die Feuerzangenbowle*, directed by Helmut Käutner. Subsequently, for many years, he focused primarily on his theater work, performing at venues such as the Bavarian State Theater (*Bayerisches Staatsschauspiel*), the Munich Kammerspiele, the Munich Volkstheater, and other major stages throughout the German-speaking world.
